Owners Glenn and Kris Ellis are both Colorado natives and
avid outdoor adventurers, enjoying everything Colorado has to offer – from fly
fishing to snowshoeing!
In June 2015 they decided to expand their industrial
wholesale supply company, GRE Sales, which features Carhartt clothing and
accessories, into a retail outdoor clothing, gear and sporting goods store in
their hometown of Bailey.
In addition to a huge selection of Carhartt clothing and
accessories, Platte River Outfitters also carries sporting goods, camping,
hiking and fishing gear, and seasonal snowshoe sales and rentals.
The store is constantly expanding and bringing in gear to
fit each new season of adventure.
